Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson knew that there would be there was no going back after they walked into the Hamburg church. Ashley aged 17 at the time and hadn't had previously had a romantic relationship, took her time. It was love at first sight. Andrew asked God on New Year's Eve, right before 2016 began. He requested God for one final blessing that year: that Ashley decide to marry him and that she would be married. Ashley was keen to have the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme to symbolize Andrew along with her. The couple combined their favorite things to create the perfect wedding. Ashley was born on 40 acres. Ashley played and explored all the land, including the paths they walked to reach the spot. Andrew and Ashley strolled through the exact area when they were together. Being that the wedding was largely DIY, personalization played an integral part. Andrew Ashley's father and Andrew designed the arch for the ceremony and seating arrangements, and Ashley performed a lot of painting and making decorations. Ashley states, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I had always envisioned if Anna's beautiful floral arrangements had not been created." Absolutely stunning.
